THE SIEGESSÄULE

This major touristic attraction in Berlin is a column known as Victory Column in the Tiergarten of Berlin, surrounded of trees and the angel atop the column looks towards to the "Bundestag" or German Parliament. This column was built to commemorate the Prussian Victory. Although now is not located in its original place, due that it was moved in 1.939 . The column itself measure around 67 metres high and it´s located in the middle of an impressive avenue. From the top there is a wonderful view of both tiergarten and the former East Berlin.
